When you buy from us, you’re accepting these terms and conditions & entering into a sales contract with us, therefore do take a minute to review them before you buy.
Buying Vintage
We take all reasonable care to detail and describe the items we sell accurately – we don’t want to mislead anyone so we are as transparent in our descriptions & photos as possible. However, we do sell vintage pieces, with the mutual understanding between us & the customer that they are used, second-hand items. Consequently there will be wear & tear as you would expect with preloved, old pieces. Our descriptions detail work we may have undertaken so you are clear on what has & hasn’t been done.
Our pieces are ‘SOLD AS SEEN’ so please feel fire over questions before you buy. We’re happy to share more photos, additional dimensions, even videos. We want you to feel confident when you buy from us.
Payment
We accept payment by card, via Stripe. We’ve chosen to process all our card payments via Stripe to offer you the highest protection when making a purchase as Stripe delivers one of the most secure payment platforms in the world.
We don’t keep or store any payment details, or indeed have access to your payment information ourselves.
Reasonable Returns
The hope is you will be absolutely thrilled with your Vintage Curiosities order but if you receive an item & for whatever reason, it doesn’t suit, you’re welcome to return it within 14 days of receipt, in line with the Distance Selling Laws, for a full refund.
You’re responsible for arranging & the cost of the return. We would recommend using a service that’s trackable so you can see when it’s received back.
We would ask that you let us know in advance if you plan to return an item so we know to expect it.
Items being returned must be received back in the same condition as they were sent out.
Once we’ve received the item back, we will check it thoroughly & then confirm via email that it has been refunded, within 5 days of receipt.
Delivery
UK mainland delivery is included in all our prices with items protected, packed & sent by well-known, reputable delivery companies. We will give you tracking information so that you can follow & manage your delivery. We dispatch orders within 2-5 days for receipt within 5-7 working days, often sooner.
We do not currently send internationally.
Faulty Items
If you receive your order & it’s faulty or damaged, please get in touch within 48 hours of receipt. After this time, we cannot uphold a claim & so we would advise you to check your item immediately after delivery.
Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and will never share your private details nor do we store or have visibility to your payment details. We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We will have a record of your email address & we may send you updates about Vintage Curiosities but you can opt out by letting us know.
We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection ACt (1998) and GDPR 2018.
