What’s the story?
A very elegant, striking small bowl that’s beautifully simple, where less is more. The shape and tones are reminiscent of Lucie Rie, Emmanuel Cooper and Emily Belle Ellis but sadly there is no maker’s mark to let us investigate the potter further. Although no chips or surface flaws there is a small bulge inside the bowl that occurred during the firing process but this only adds to its uniqueness and appeal in our view.
