Midcentury Briglin Studio Pottery Ceramic Teapot with Cane Handle

What’s the story?

Unmistakably midcentury, this smart, little teapot is the perfect styling piece for a retro kitchen or vintage country cottage look. Made by renowned pottery studio, Briglin, it was founded by two women, Brigitte Goldsmith and Eileen Mawson in the 1960s. This teapot is beautifully rendered. These are complex pieces to throw with various elements – spout, lit, handle holes – that require a high level of expertise. We love how the original cane handle loops through and is held in place.
