What’s the story?

There’s a very good chance this is an Abaty Cymru studio pottery piece, as the round swirl motif is seen on many vases, jugs and bowls from there. A well-thrown, medium-sized vase with handpainted circles within circles of brown glaze in a band around its body. It’s chunky and substantial, in great original order and full of vintage character.
