What’s the story?
From a different time, these old-fashioned stoneware bottles were once filled with hot water and used to warm your feet or the bed. It’s the original hot water bottle used from Victorian times through to the fifties until rubber ones came along. This large three pint bottle was made by Royal Doulton and comes nicely decorated. There are some knocks and chips primarily around the carry handle but they only add to its authentic appeal in our view. Ideal for the country cottage core or Victoriana look, they are interesting, decorative pieces for styling your home and make excellent door stops and bookends.
