Made in the 1950’s by Hanovia, here is a Sollux H8A freestanding electric heater, repurposed wonderfully to become an unusual, industrial statement floor lamp that can be wheeled into position on its elevated triform base. The lamp can be angled with the cantilever weight and the anodised domed lampshade itself has a high polish interior to diffuse and reflect the light, perfect for an Edison bulb. It’s a sculptural piece, as well as practical, and we love the rugged, industrial patina across the metal surfaces.
